This festive season, Reethi Faru Resort invites you to spend the most magical time of the year on our island in Raa Atoll. Expect sun-kissed days, palm trees strung with lights and warm Maldivian hospitality.

From December 12th, 2026 , our Christmas Village display opens the season. Three weeks of celebrations and themed events follow, with something for guests of all ages.

On December 22nd, we celebrate Reethi Faru Resort's 9th Anniversary with a Management Cocktail, the Christmas Tree Lighting and a cake-cutting ceremony.

On Christmas Eve, Santa Claus arrives on the island at 18:00. The evening continues with mulled wine and canapés, a Christmas Buffet Dinner, and a Christmas Party with a DJ, special performances and a lucky draw. Christmas Day brings a festive brunch, afternoon tea, sunset Hatha yoga and a karaoke night.

Between Christmas and New Year, guests can join dolphin safaris and sandbank visits, sunset cruises, sunset fishing, coral planting with our marine biologist, night snorkelling and a watersports triathlon. Our team will also take on guests in beach volleyball, soccer and cricket. In the evenings there's a Bodu Mas Cultural Show followed by a Bodu Beru Beach Party, a Poolside DJ White Party, and a Spa Presentation and Fashion Show.

On New Year's Eve, we see out 2026 with barefoot cocktails on the beach, the Last Sunset Cruise of 2026, a "Dinner for One" screening and the New Year's Eve Gala Buffet Dinner. The New Year's Eve Party follows, with a DJ, special performances and a lucky draw. New Year's Day starts with a sunrise breakfast and a New Year's dive, then brunch, the Baibalaa Sports Challenge, and the Miss Reethi Faru and Best Couple contests.

For younger guests, there's gingerbread house making, Christmas tree décor and craft, an island treasure hunt, a shallow-water snorkelling game with our dive team, sandcastle building, a children's fashion show and a Christmas party. For wellness, there's sunrise Ashtanga and Vinyasa yoga on the beach, aqua yoga at the pool and sunset Hatha yoga.
